ABOUT BRIGITTE ENGLAHNER
Nosy K9s Brigitte Englahner got started in K9 NoseWork in 2011 after rescuing a very environmentally sensitive and shut down German Shepherd Dog from a shelter. She was so impressed with how beneficial it was for Nero dog to use his nose for fun and how much confidence he gained.
Due to this encouraging experience, Brigitte decided in 2017 to enter the NACSW instructor training program to become a CNWI – Certified NoseWork Instructor and has been teaching ever since. Her biggest joy is to see previously shy, shut down, reactive dogs blossom and give them a positive outlet through the activity NoseWork. She also gives back to her community by bringing NoseWork to shelters, volunteering at shelters and fostering shelter dogs.
Brigitte teaches Intro to K9 NoseWork Classes and up to the Elite level. She can also be found competing with her dogs in K9 NoseWork and is a regular volunteer at NoseWork trial to give back to her NoseWork Community.
